This book is set in India, and all I can think about is: colonizers, colonizers, colonizers....colonizers, colonizers....yeah you get it (:

But I love Thomas' writings, and the angst she produces. Yet reading HRs set in India, even partially, makes it hard for me to switch to the fantasy of it, to forget the more historical aspects and be immersed into the romance(or angst xD).
