This book is a good guide to encourage women into initiating shadow work. But the way the way the chapters are written is not to my liking. In every chapter, the author narrates her trauma by intertwining the story of Inanna, and then encourages you why taking the journey to the underworld (or doing your shadow work) is liberating. It’s repetitive and boring, without any substance.
