One of the few books that really tweaked my curiosity to investigate more - despite the fact that it is full of references- just finished “The Shortest History Of China” by Linda Jaivin (worth reading) which ties in nicely with this book. Now “A Short History of the Destruction of the Indies” by Bartolomé de las Casas (translation from Spanish) to help give me a greater understanding of the “conquest”!
