I’m only on page 20 and I’ve already taken more notes than the author has written words. I need a break. It’s interesting—if one wants to put it that way—that a book titled masculinity devotes so much attention to women, their rights, and femininity. At the moment it remains confined within a Eurocentric and liberal-humanist lens, overlooking the structural dynamics of hegemonic masculinity.
