I learned about dementia, connecting w/ Len. I learned that the illness is permanent and caused by genetics, which Len is genetically related to someone who has the illness. Len is so nervous she may have dementia since what she was going through matched perfectly to a simple symptom google search: "Her body convulsed, cold suddenly...aching to temper the bitterness in her stomach" (Carpenter 94).

I disagree with Sage not telling anyone about her heart condition/secret volleyball team. I believe that she may not tel anyone because it could effect her popularity status, friends liking her, coaches, parents, and people who see her as the "volleyball star". She doesn't want to lose any of that, so she decides to not tell anyone.
