The growth! The progression! The emotional intelligence! Math! So much to love. Will finish it tomorrow (later today) time allowing but Mariam has to catch up now

Some great healing is happening. There’s been a lot of introspection and internal battles—facing the traumas rather than ignoring them or expecting someone else to “complete” them. They’re whole within themselves, and together they’re each other’s greatest asset. PLUS, the communication is fantastic—and the best friend is absolutely fabulous.

Book is picking up. Very considerate father to be - literally doing the bare minimum but great banter between them and he’s apparently good looking (described as having blonde hair but that’s not what he looks like in my head - nice of the author to try tho).

Crazy start to the book. She’s also just found out she’s pregnant (🫥) - hoping it picks up and gets better

Have heard great things about this book - v excited to start
