I started this just yesterday and am only 2 essays in, but oh my God, yes. Already, Alice Walker has written so rich and so beautifully. I genuinely have such a love and appreciation for her whole being since reading The Color Purple (one of my favorites ever). She is so intelligent and so kind-hearted, and it always always shows in her writing 💜💜 I cannot wait to annotate the crap out of this
