Bloom has so many helpful insights on how to read certain texts and why we should not only are there examples but there is general advice I find really helpful. The first section is on short stories. Enjoyable and interesting. This book is certainly making me a better reader.

I am not sure how this book is going to go because at the moment I am not sure it is what I’m expecting. I may swap between this and Bloom’s ‘Anxiety of Influence’
