"And Seven Times Never Killed Man" - This one didn't resonate with me. Others claim because there's too much crammed into a short read. Possibly, but not interested in revisiting.

"The Tower of Ashes" - straightforward adventure and an exciting one at that

"A Song for Lya" - Easily the longest story in the collection so far. Well done Sci Fi. Creepy from start to finish.

"With Morning Comes Mistfall" - A newly discovered planet where mysterious wraiths are seemingly killing people. Or are they? One of the better stories in the collection.

"The Second Kind of Loneliness" - Journal entry format of a man on the brink of insanity. It was alright. Quick read.

"The Exit to San Breta" - Creepy ghost story that should have been longer with a true ending. Wasted potential imo.

"The Hero" - Probably my favorite story so far in this collection. I'm hoping they continue getting better.

"And Death His Legacy" - A look into the mind of a prophet and a lunatic as their lives come crashing together. Short and sweet with an open-ended conclusion.

"The Fortress" - Political theater with some of the craziest names in literature. Epilog did a nice job clarifying any questions the reader might have. This warrants a re-read.

"Only Kids Are Afraid of the Dark" - The first Dr. Weird story in which he takes on Saagael, the prince of darkness. It was a fun story worthy of a comic book.
