It’s so good i’m gonna have to buy this book just to have it when i get my own house i love how old times it is like nostalgic and comforting i absolutely live the deep dive on every character and getting to see all there struggles but also how they deal with it and the fact that it progresses till the date is great and it fills us in on things too and adding the recipes with the songs to eat it to so creative!

Idk how far along but I’m in claire’s chapter and she’s apparently gay and having an affair with mrs sutherland I wouldn’t have guessed. So far she’s probs my least favorite character her and arlene if i had to rank them it would be- nora, retka, fliss, grace,bea,claire,arlene and pete and lean are in there too i really love this book and how in dept it goes with the characters not living claires chapter

it’s so good i’m listening to it on audio book and it’s very old age and societies but i like it and after i might read more books like it but the chapters are sooooo long but i like the idea of showing the characters life’s and different characters not just the same ones
