This last portion, all about one of the characters time in Auschwitz was heart wrenching, but also such a well written account of what a person can survive! The horrors of everyday life and the will to survive.

Interesting. Definitely a different style. Took me awhile to figure out that it is actually a whole different book within a book. Two stories simultaneously…still waiting to see how they tie together!
