This is gripping as it isn't of those "fell flat" type stories! It gives me the feels with such real and imaginable descriptions as if there during the horrific invasion of Poland. My heart broke while also feeling outraged at the cruelty, arrogance, and evil in which the German soldiers inflicted upon innocent citizens. The despair and anguish comes through so this author is impressive so far!
