I'm about to give up on this..the heroine is a true and utter idiot. Girl has no experience in the jungle and she repeatedly goes traipsing out there even after she was stupid enough to get attacked by a gorilla..oh did I mention dumb-dumb thought it was smart to RUN from the gorilla... Seriously she almost deserves to be eaten by something

Ok, thanks I'll put it on my stay away shelf;)...can't stand tstl h's - and thats the worst when the awesome guy or girl is paired with the ditz or the douche:(

I loved that the hero was African there's not enough diversity sometimes in books :(
Very true about the diversity.. did you read Day Zero? I loved the characters, they were all very much from the world of today and diverse with Arcana characters shown from all corners of the globe. All were likeable and there was even a Arcana character in an MMF menage relationship...gave me some hope about the Jack-Evie-Aric HEA,lol!!I hear the series is gonna be a TV show, did you know?

There is hope for not having to choose between Jack and Aric!!! I'm so glad that they picked it up for a television show now I just hope they don't ruin it!!!
I don't read shorts either, but I guessed this was a by product for the TV show where KC had to give some background on all the Arcana characters. It was really good with upto date cutting edge characters,very well written - if the makers get it right it could be an awesome show!!I hope theres a menage ending too!!
