This book is just so much more interesting than I expected it to be. Learning about how these innovations so significantly shifted the course of humanity and created a change in culture and values is wild. I knew agriculture was a huge “invention”, but I never considered how it is responsible for a materialistic society, since we no longer had to travel light, as the nomadic people had to. Wildly cool

Ngl this has been way more interesting than I anticipated. Did I expect to learn about the evolutionary and biological change for women’s breasts to be linked to sexual attraction and arousal? No. But goddamn it was it interesting. Also interesting was how cooking food has lead to us having weaker and smaller jaws than apes. It’s so cool 🤯. Ty to Willy Mellado for the book rec
