i knew i didn’t like kristen hannah as an author but still i stupidly picked up this book and gave her another chance. only 1/5 of the way through but it’s starting to read less about women’s selfless contributions to a war effort and more like the most beautiful woman in the world constantly being complimented and hit on and encouraged to get with married men. hard not to roll my eyes while listening
