Today in my reading, Mitch and Morrie are still having their chats, but Mitch isn't going to record them anymore for his writing.Morrie's stories are for Mitch to listen and learn from. All of Morrie's stories are inspiring. Right now, they are talking about when Morrie went on TV to talk about his dying. Friends are important, and the way Morrie lives shows the world how we all should live. Being nice is important.

Morrie talked about how important it is to live while you still can, and even on the verge of death, there are still things to appreciate. Morrie looks out the window and sees time pass. He makes sure Mitch knows that he should go outside and do what he wants to do while he still can. Morrie also writes back to the people who write to him after his appearance on the TV show with the help of his family and friends.

Today, in my reading,I learned that Morrie's main light in his life as a child was his stepmother. Morrie had to carry the burden of knowing that his stepmother wasn't actually his real mother from his brother. However, Morrie still prays to his real mother after her death in secret because his dad wants Morrie to forget his real mother. However, his stepmother is a teacher to Morrie because she is so kind and loving.

Today in my reading I learned more about the Tuesdays that Mitch and Morrie talk in Morrie's decrepit state. Mitch asks to help Morrie instead of his care worker and he realizes that Morrie is about to die soon. He wants to help him. Then they flash back to when they were in college and Morrie made them do a trust fall exercise and how sometimes you have to blindly trust others.

Today in my reading I learned that Morrie has become one of Mitch's best friends and he really values their time talking on Tuesdays. They talk about the "good old days" and several different things. One of Morries' lechers years ago was that silence is acquired but comforting and uncomfortable simultaneously. Mitch would rather be silent than tell his friends or classmates about his feelings.

Mitch is a union worker at his print, and they decide to go on strike. Mitch has come custom to work and nothing else. The friends that he does have are non-union workers at his print and he's not allowed to talk to them. This makes Mitch loney and he decides to call Morrie. They set up a time to talk like they did when Mitch was in college. This is on a Tuesday, the first of many Tuesdays.

Mitch could not stop thinking about Morry after their conversation. He looks at the world in a different light. He starts to remember the philosophy he learned from Morrie years ago in college. Morrie was always a fun-loving guy who lived his life to the fullest. He was truly happy. Mitch seems to start to think about how to be happy in his own life. Is covering Wimbledon and other sporting events really his passion?

Today in my reading the main character goes and sees Morrie. We know that they were very close in college. We now learn that he had skipped a grade and was a year young to be in college. Because of this he acted "tough". However, Morrie saw right though his act. They would do a lot together, like have lunch or other meals together.

I didn't get to read very much today because I had to do something that made me a little late to class. However, in my reading today I learned about how the main character drives to Morrie's house. This is just because he wants to talk to him. He is busy when he does this but he thought it was so important that he had to talk to him right away. It had been 16 years since had Morrie as a teacher and he looked worse.
