“i think they felt uncomfortable with this young man who was so clever at pleasing their daughter.” first of all, no duh. second of all, the way this book is written feels like it was written several years after the events of the story took place, almost like Keisha is reflecting on it as an adult. it’s kind of interesting rereading it.
