Growing Up Social argues that screen time can be harmful—with which I agree—but so far it leans on anecdotes and conclusion jumping more than on the many sources it cites.
This book constantly pounds readers over the head with the idea that eye contact is a basic human right that you automatically deserve from the people around you. My eyes automatically roll every time it comes up at this point.

Inspiring so far, especially the focus on thriving, non-device-centered family life.
Some ideas feel a bit outdated, such as the link between video games and violence (without considering other variables, which have been shown to matter) or the suggestion that screens are the primary reason people dislike eye contact.
That said, it’s thought-provoking and motivational overall!
