WTF is up with that cover?!

It depicts an event from the life of "Crime Does Not Pay" artist Bob Wood, an alcoholic and gambler who bludgeoned his girlfriend to death with an iron after they went on a several-day binge together. He was also murdered after his release from prison.

True story. Crime doesn't pay.

Wow, the publishers didn't hide the content of this book behind a subtle cover.

Yeah. It's exploitative and crossing a certain line, but it's very much in keeping with the Crime Does Not Pay comic books.
