Hmmm The Stoker was interesting, and I liked the commentary on the immigrant experience, but it felt a little slow??

Finished Contemplation. It took me about three prose poems to realize that these were not interconnected chapters of the same narrative lmao As if with all collections, some sections hit and others missed, but it was interesting to see how Kafka’s writing is both varied and consistent in its mystery and absurdity. “The Plight of the Bachelor” and “The Businessman” resonated with me the most.
