This book had revealed some very thought provoking points that have influenced my philosophy. However, this book is very centered on the notion that living longer is always better and seems to only address longevity of white folk. When you stumble upon the excerpt on Henrietta Lacks, I'd advise you to read The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot, it reveals a much larger truth.
