Did I devour the last half of the book?? yess
Did I love the change in POV? ABSOLUTELY

Zane is such a romantic at heart! I love him.
The fact that someone has it out for him is annoying but I love a little mystery- maybe the Elders know he’s a Die Erste and that’s why they want him to die?? Or be maimed. Not cool tho

I love that we’re watching Zane and Ellie’s relationship begin to bloom.
Plus I love how Zane is coming out of his shell. His parents, I’m sure are the ones who hired Ellie to watch Z, so just know they know more than what they’re letting on. Esp considering they’ve been sending morse signals very discreetly. Meaning they have the knowledge, maybe they had to disappear…

Okay so, Zane is a softy but he is ridiculously astute, that it is probably not doing him any favours.
It's great that Ellie is there to help him along, but I feel like she's not being upfront with him bc he needs the honesty esp. now.

My poor Zane. He’s woken up from the simulation and now can see the matrix for what it truly is.
Gives Book of Doors vibes, ain’t gonna lie.
