this is like the novel equivalent of a 90s sarah michelle gellar thriller in which everyone is gay and a liar

There is definitely a lot to love so far. Well-written main characters, an interesting set up, tons of mystery, and a lot of the pieces that could make up a great thriller. The pacing is a little glacial for my liking but i’m sticking with it.
