I don't really know how to rate this book. Did I like it? Yes. Did I love it? Not really. Would I recommend it for people who love the musical? Probably not. Gregory's writing drags, A LOT. There are many "blink and you'll miss it" moments, where there's so much going on, but also nothing. Overall, Elphaba's story is unique and interesting, and the musical took just enough.

I really want a non-musical film version of this book. With all the drama and fixings included.

Elephaba and her secret affair child going to Kaimo Ko to live with her baby daddy's wife and kids. Ghetto mess. And Fieryo's kids are bad as hell! And they call Elephaba "auntie" LOL.

I didn't need to know that Elphaba has purple pubic hair but that's kinda cunty. Slay queen. 💜

Oh my God I'm not even at the 50% mark yet. I feel like I'm walking down the yellow brick road trying to finish this damn book. 😭😂

What a hot freak mess.
This book is for middle aged gays who gossip over drinks at Chili's and like going on those swingers cruises.
That being said, I cannot and will not stop reading it. 😂
