I'm a bit shocked that this is read by 7th and 8th graders (12-14 yrs old) in German schools. It's far too graphically violent and harrowing for that age group, I'd say, despite all the violent vid games kids today play. I'd say 16 at the minimum.
Oh, and this is about total war. What's 1641 + 300? Yeah, subtle, but there!

Yeah, probably wouldn't go over big at Smallville Middle School.😂
