In this book, Darius believes knowing Farsi and Iranian culture will boost his sense of belonging in Iran. He even says that he wants "to know what made the Bahrami family special" (Khorram 178). He believes this will help him blend in with the others.

I didn't like how Sohrab acted when Darius went to his house. Although it was sort of reasonable, as his dad, whom he hadn't seen in a while, had passed away. So, although it was bad, it was reasonable.

I don't like Steven Kellhner's actions towards his son Darius. I don't believe it is right to call your son fat by saying he should eat a salad instead. I think it was wrong, and he should take it back and talk things through.
