I have to admit that when I first received this book I was nervous. All the blurbs I read stated it was about the bereavement of the author over the death of her father.

My father, who was my world, died 3 years ago; I wasn't sure I was ready for this.

But so far, the book is mostly about falconry & occasionally about how it pertains to the author's grieving process, & I am enjoying it!
