I’m finally putting this book down 46% in. And I have not wanted to pick this up. I look at the book and instantly get pissed. The mother in this book is just absolutely atrocious. I’ll put it in my paused-books shelf . If I grab it then so be it but if not I wouldn’t mind at all.

I really don’t know about this. I’m having a hard time in Rose (The mother’s)POV the whole book is her POV by the way. The “overprotectiveness” The needy behavior. The absolute unawareness to how she is “protecting” her daughter is literally too much for me. Then she dies this thing where she will admit to doing too much but says “I’m a better mother for doing xyz”.And I don’t tend to like that.
