really fucking with this one. wasn’t sure if i was gonna continue this trilogy, bc the last one was a little boring and strangely paced. it was undeniably interesting though, and i wanted to see where pheby was going with it, and i’m glad i did. some of the most unique world building i’ve ever seen in a fantasy series, and also some crazy prose and writing styles that are equally challenging and entertaining.
