trying to hard to stay focused on this book but it’s so much about gay people suffering and having no freedom and suffering and dillydallying around england as aristocrats

thinking of gender of early 1900s england…. i wouldn’t have lasted a day… i see myself in an era i never lived in, and it makes me feel far more connected with people similar to me, and i see a larger history involved in the similarity
