I wonder how Austen will react when she finds out it’s Sunati's birthday…

In a way, Austen is absolutely right. Sunati's opinion of her as being this brave person based on months of watching her unchanging beauty is flawed. However, Austen is also wrong. Sunati was interested in her because of the lack of mods, but it was getting to know her, in particular on their dates, that made her go from fascination to love.

Austen isn’t very good at accepting compliments, but Sunati seriously needs to rethink what it means to not be able to use mods.
