I would read this one based on the cover alone, lol! Is it good?

I hope you mean the original cover because the new one sucks. I read the original story ages ago and decided that I wanted to read the re-release and see if I could spot what was different so far other than going from a very nice sexy cover to a crap photo shop cover I'm not really seeing a difference.

Yeah, I somehow I saw the old cover when I checked it out. Weird! Why changing a perfectly good cover?

I totally enjoyed it this time as well. I still wish there was more of the background between Rod and Hawk, but as short stories go I like this one a lot just not this new cover. Sorry but whoever approved this one needs new glasses. Sadly this is frequently the case with covers on books published by MLR Press,
