For me the audiobook turns this into a more ‘digestible’ read from the print copy, by establishing the tone and providing narrative tension where needed. I find the print copy is reading ‘drier’ for me because I read very quickly with my eyes, while audio forces me to slowdown and really take in the words. I’m enjoying it so far…
