This was better than the last Dean Koontz I read which was The City. After Dean Koontz got on the Odd Thomas train I just quit reading his books. I hated the entire Odd Thomas books except for the first one. I guess the last book I loved of his was The Husband. I can't even tell you what Ashely Bell was about. I guess about a girl in a coma. Dean Koontz is just not my favorite author anymore.
