I’ve competed the first part of the book and I am already contemplating whether I should continue. The writing is competent but uninspiring. More importantly, it comes across as pretentious. Each character in the book feels so cliche and out of touch. At a surface level, it all seems like a stereotypical college-age drama on the WB. I want to finished the book, if only because it was so popular, but I fear the slog
