Oh dear, apparently, discipline is bad. I think this stems from the belief that children are born pure. After all, if they are born pure, we should never punish them! But they aren't, so appropriate punishment is necessary.

I'm barely in this book, but I approve of the author stating that you are responsible for your own actions. The one thing I strongly disagree with is that children are born pure and that the world damages them. As a Christian, I believe children are born sinners.
