IMO This story shines a realistic light on the conflicting and shameful feelings that can come from a victim of a toxic/abusive first love. This story shows that it’s normal to have and keep the good memories in a relationship, surviving the bad moments from your past show strength and bravery and help make you the person you are today. I really appreciate Cambria handled the topic this way.
