And there’s also Koyomi and her whole problematic arc. Everything felt a bit icky to me. Some of the top reviews say that this book reminded them of Murakami and I guess my interest in reading him has dipped even lower. The art was great but other than that…meh.

I have to start off by saying that the art is so pretty! I’m obsessed with the lines (so smooth so elegant!) but the story didn’t gel with me, sure the premise is good and the mystery is suspenseful but the resolution (or (in a way) lack thereof) was disappointing. I would’ve liked to know more about Aki and Sakura and their “ruse”.
