Ughhh - “when will this be over” I keep asking myself. It just keeps going on and on.. Excruciatingly bad book. How does he go from Hex to this. But there were moments in Hex that foreshadowed this clown show ~ especially towards the end when the witch somehow became the good guy. But this book is almost childish in how bad it is. I have to finish it because I bought it but never again..

Awful read. I am just continuing to read it because I started it. This 13 year old keeps outsmarting all these really bad ass secret svc types. Then they add Grim in there and he is now beating up commando types. This thing is hard to read. And why on earth is this classified as horror??? It’s not even sci-fi. Not even a little scary. I am done with this author - I liked HEX but this 2nd book is trash.
