Tanith Lee's “Yellow and Red" builds up a nice dose of suspense.

The weirdness of some of these is really something else.
But anyway, recommending The Dark by Karen Joy Fowler and The Function of Dream Sleep by Harlan Ellison.

Thumbs up for the Sandkings by G.R.R. Martin and The Little Dirty Girl by Joanna Russ.

Creepy, but excellent so far!
