Switching to the audiobook version of this title, read by Daveed Diggs. I almost wish I'd just listened to the audiobook from the start, as it's made this book much more digestible considering how much I'm struggling to keep interest in this story.

It feels like it's taken me forever to get this far through the book; though I like the premise, the storytelling feels repetitive. The horrors experienced by the Historian are brutal, but there doesn't seem to be any healing or selfcare beyond the protagonist trying to constantly run from their problems. Still holding out hope for the end.
