Making Connections: When I started to read this book, I would not understand the connections it has made to my mind. But I can connect myself to Mitchell because both of us have a disorder which make us impulsive. A similar time was when he got revenge on his therapist because he dropped him as a patient so he peed all over his garden. I got revenge on someone by throwing a rock at them because they were annoying.

Topic Antagonist: The antagonists for this book is Luke and Jeager. The reason is because they are older and more wild then the other boys and is more dangerous. They always carry weapons and threaten them. This is because they have found a fort and the cutlery from it is worth a lot of money and Luke and Jaeger want that money buy illegal things. This puts Even, Mitchell, C.J, Jason and Ricky in danger.

Topic POV: This book is told in first person from different characters' perspectives. Mitchell, with OCD, has a chaotic voice; Jason, going through a divorce, is sad and emotional; C.J., abused, focuses on escape; and Evan, with high parents, acts tough and defensive. These limited perspectives immerse the reader in each character's mindset, strengthening the emotional connection to their individual struggles.
