Surprisingly good Christology.
McClain states that the Kingdom of God is “the grand central theme of all Holy Scripture” (p. 4–5). However, he notes that the person and work of Jesus Christ does not take a back seat to this grand central theme, “For He is the King eternal, and there could be no final Kingdom apart from Him and His work as the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
Pages 31-34 are so good!

The prophetic utterances of Gabriel, Mary, Zacharias, Simeon, and Anna “represent ideas which are so firmly embedded in the doctrine of the Kingdom of the OT prophecy that no exposition can be valid which leaves out the historic nation of Israel and its historic city” (see pp. 281–283).

McClain points out something of great significance, “this Jewish problem…is related vitally to the political problems of the world.” For they were appointed by God to be the means of national blessing of all the families in the world (Gen 12:3). “Therefore, until Israel is where he ought to be, both religiously and politically, there can be no thorough and permanent solution of the international problems." p. 231
