Are you liking Emma? I never read it but have thought about reading Jane Austen. Is it old English and hard to get through?

It is old English and therefore slow reading, but I do find it "sort of" interesting. I'm about half way through the book. It Is written from the perspective of Emma so it's mostly her thoughts, judgments, and plans.
It is interesting to read of the culture of the time ... very different from ours.

Sounds like what I figured but maybe I'll give it a try;
