This hero is lame. Oliver just had his brother call him to get away from his miserable girlfriend. Why is this grown, rich, arrogant man too afraid to tell his witch of a girlfriend that he won't spend the night? Its so childish. The gf disrespects his brother, daughter, maid, and nanny but he still doesn't have the balls to tell her no, much less dump her.

Oh geez. The heroine has been going on and on about how tough she is and that's she can't wait for the opportunity to fight the evil gf. But when she finally does punch the witch, the heroine hurts her hand and has to ice it. Then she's all," I'm so ashamed..." Fricking poser.

I don't know how to feel about this one. Oliver, the hero, is not a good dad. He made no effort to see his daughter before his ex's death, now that he has her, he hardly spends time with her. Plus, he lets his current girlfriend treat the little girl (and the heroine) like crap. I don't know how the heroine could be attracted to a man like that.
We'll see if the author can redeem him.
