Today is a national holiday in Germany so lots of time for reading...and this is turning out to be a fast read, rather cinematic, but not terribly "new" or different from other similar stories.

Christian nutcakes are starting to become vigilantes and carry out both protests and assassinations on the "immortals". Good thriller writing, but a bit too Opus Dei atm.

Seems quite prescient, this novel! It was written 8 years ago! Gosh, wouldn't it be eerie if the new Pope chooses "Pius"!!😨👻
