Another standout comes with Ryan McGregor in a chilling sci-fi with nightmarish transformations and an interesting ending in "Demanufactured/Enslaved."

Thomas Stewart laid out some terrifying choices for us in his gruesome, chilling story "What I Fear."

Sarah Moon's "The Awakening" is an atmospheric, slow burn stand-out in this collection that will break your heart. Really well done.

And then we have a short jolt of brutality that ends unexpectedly in Joshua Singleton's "Can I Borrow Your Charger."

Megan Russ just terrified and disturbed me in the heart-breaking "A Touch of Darkness."

DL Garvin has an interesting twist with a series of people dying in their dreams in "Deadly Sleep."

Andy H. gets even trippier with "Peyote." (I guess that's one way to wipe your bum. 😳😆)
