LOL! You can edit your status on it if you want! There should be a button to clear that you have started it. If it makes you feel better, I've done that before and that is how I know! :)

Ok, that didn't work... Now I am listed as reading it! I thought you could clear it! Now I'm stuck in the same position!!!!!!!!
Ok, figured it out, if you want! :)To remove a status update (a.k.a progress update) from Goodreads:
1) Navigate to the book page of the book to which the status update refers.
2) In the "My Review" section of that page, click "view all x status updates".
3) Click on the date next to the update you'd like to delete.
4) Click on "delete this status update" on the top right of the page.
