I am not enjoying this book in the latest, I don’t like any of the characters, so far there has been not much of a story, and the way it seems the author views actions and people are suspect.

Skimmer getting stuck in the hole was the first time this book has been in anyway compelling, the climbing party that dislikes “ransom” has easily been the best part of this book, because he is a fucking selfish self-absorbed lunatic and God I’m hoping he dies in a fucking volcano eruption
