Okay, the writing... Isn't great. I'm still intrigued enough by the plot to forge ahead, but, oof, there's a lot of suspension of disbelief involved in the reality that these characters seem to inhabit as well, so, along with the subpar writing, has me stalling a bit.

I DNF'd the physical book a while ago, but when I saw that the same two narrators who did Dysfunctional by Isabel Lucero narrated this book, I had to try it again. So far so good, but i will say.. some people should lose the right to use adverbs. Adverbs are a privilege to be used sparingly, and this author is abusing that privilege
